-A NEW YEAR IS DAWNING AND IT IS GOING TO BE AN ALMIGHTY ONE OVER SUNNY POLE MOOR and WORTS hill!!! This year is going to be the TITANIC beginning of the come back tour. It will see the main part of the Launds project starting.... ie the building of the museum and b&b. This section of Launds is the oldest part, dateing back to the 14th century.. I will be running a seperate page, covering the progress of the building work.. with photos etc... Any comments welcome... To start things moving big style with the project... recently YORKSHIRE LIFE MAGAZINE interviewed a certain young curator... a Mr ROBERT BRODBENT ESQ.. The interview lasted 1 hour and 45 mins.... most of it recorded.... Mr Curator nearly talked the interviewer until she was nearly blue in the face!!! Many tales were told .... some funny and some even more funny... So the end of FEB GO OUT AND BUY A COPY OR 10 AND READ ABOUT THE BROADBENT'S and the project of the century in the Colne valley...!!
